About Ryan

Ryan Budnick is an assignment editor with News2. Prior to joining the television station, he was a newspaper reporter for seven years. He's won several Society of Professional Journalists awards for newspaper writing and his articles have appeared in newspapers across the nation as well as on other websites.

Ryan has always enjoyed traveling (five countries and counting!). He's lived in Oaxaca, Mexico and the Pacific Northwest, among other places, and indulges in many outdoor activities including rock climbing, backcountry skiing, and mountain biking. Ryan also enjoys photography and cooking.

Through his blog he hopes to connect his experiences with other outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy the unique opportunities only Colorado provides!
